Bridgestone Corp. has announced the following changes in its corporate officers. All of the appointments and changes are effective July 1, 2015.
Takashi Tomomoto is a new corporate officer and now vice president and officer of commercial products global marketing strategy and advanced business planning; and concurrently director of commercial products global marketing strategy division, and the advanced business planning division. Tomomoto formerly was director of commercial products global marketing strategy division and concurrently general manager of commercial products global solution strategy department and assistant to vice president and officer of innovation development.
Shuichi Ishibashi remains senior vice president responsible for global original equipment tire sales and also is now group global chief quality officer responsible for CSR and group global chief marketing officer responsible for marketing strategy.Ishibashi retains responsibilities as chief marketing officer responsible for group global marketing strategy; assistant to vice president and officer of diversified products for sports and cycle business; and assistant to vice president and senior officer responsible for diversified products business and diversified products new business models development.
Yutaka Yamaguchi remains vice president and senior officer responsible for CSR and quality management and gives up his safety and disaster prevention responsibilities.
Hiroshi Yoshimori is now vice president and officer of CSR and quality management planning, safety and disaster prevention. Yoshimori previously served as vice president and officer of commercial products global marketing strategy and advanced business planning and director of advanced business planning division.
Atsushi Ogishima is now vice president and officer of chemical and industrial products production, technology and CQO and diversified products. Ogishima previously served as vice president and officer chemical and industrial products production and technology and director of the chemical and industrial products production division.
