May 27, 2015

NASCAR Sprint Cup Series: Race No. 13, FedEx 400 Benefiting Autism Speaks
NASCAR Xfinity Series: Race No. 12, Buckle Up 200
NASCAR Camping World Truck Series: Race No. 6, Lucas Oil 200
Dover International Speedway (1.0-mile oval) – Dover, Del., May 29-31, 2015
Tire: Goodyear Eagle Speedway Radials

Teams in all three NASCAR series in action at Dover this week
will run the same combination of left- and right-side tires.

The right-side tire code (D-4440) has been run at Dover since 2012 while
this is the first time these teams have run this left-side tire code
(D-4392) at Dover. Compared to what was run at Dover last year,
this left-side has compound, construction and mold shape changes for
more grip and to bring it into line with what is run at other speedways.
This particular left-side code has been run at Texas on the
Sprint Cup and Xfinity cars earlier this season; and at Chicagoland,
Darlington (Sprint Cup and Xfinity), Homestead and Texas last season.

Goodyear confirmed this tire set-up in a test at Dover on May 11-12 with
drivers A.J. Allmendinger, Denny Hamlin, Joey Logano and Danica Patrick participating in that test.

Dover is unique among NASCAR ovals one mile or less in length, in that inner liners are
required on all four tire positions while the air pressure in those inner
liners should be 12-25 psi greater than that of the outer tire.
