Griffin Brothers Tires, Wheels & Auto Repair will be holding a grand opening celebration for its newest location in Shelby, N.C., on Friday, Oct. 24. Griffin Brothers Shelby is the former Dixon Tire.
Griffin Brothers Shelby will become the company's seventh location. The store is currently undergoing a complete interior remodel to incorporate the trademark Griffin Brothers colors -- red, black and gray -- as well as a company history wall.
On the day of the event, the company will be serving free hot dogs and soft drinks. Shannon Wiseman, host of NASCAR Angels, will make a special appearance from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m., and the Cleveland County Chamber of Commerce will also conduct a ribbon-cutting ceremony to welcome Griffin Brothers to the community.
Griffin Brothers Vice President Larry Griffin Jr. says, "Since our store opened in June, we have experienced an outpouring of support from the community. We are excited to invite everyone to our Shelby location to experience our tradition of customer service first-hand.”
During the week of the grand opening, Griffin Brothers also is offering several service specials. The first is $10 off its “better” and “best” oil change packages. Both packages include lube of chassis parts, oil and oil filter replacement, topping off of vital fluid levels, 32-point courtesy check, free shuttle service and complementary 24-hour roadside assistance.
The “better” oil service package includes synthetic blend oil and the “best” oil service package includes full synthetic oil. Griffin Brothers Shelby also is offering $25 off any maintenance service and free road hazard and nitrogen with the purchase of four select tires.
