William Trimarco has resigned from his position as executive vice president, product strategy and supply for American Tire Distributors Holdings Inc. (ATD), according to the Securities and Exchange Commission 8-K filing on May 4, 2015. Trimarco's successor is ATD executive Jason Shannon.
Trimarco’s resignation was effective April 30. He will serve as a senior advisor to assist with certain transition planning and other matters, according to the filing.
Shannon stepped into the executive vice president, product strategy and supply position on April 30. His most recent position was senior vice president for ATD. Shannon has been with ATD for 14 years, according to Ron Sinclair, vice president of marketing.
Trimarco was CEO and president of Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. when ATD purchased Hercules Tire Holdings LLC in January 2014.
Trimarco joined Hercules as CEO in March 2009.
