Horizon Tire Group has agreed to purchase a 500,000-square-foot warehouse in Memphis, Tenn., formerly owned and operated by Del-Nat Group.
The former Del-Nat facility is located at 2365 Texas Drive in Memphis and will become Horizon’s fifth warehouse in the U.S.
Horizon has warehouses and offices in Irwindale, Calif., Cranbury, N.J., Houston, Texas, and Norcross, Ga. The company also has overseas branch offices in Beijing and Qingdao, China.
Horizon expects the warehouse to be operational by May 28, 2015, and to stock 600,000 unit tires.
“This warehouse will serve as central distribution center to serve our clients directly as well as supporting to our regional warehouses. No doubt this new DC will elevate Horizon Tire’s customer service to higher level,” says Horizon Tire Group Vice President of Sales Victor Qiu.
Horizon has been supplying tire products throughout the U.S. for more than 10 years. Horizon offers PCR, UHP, SUV/CUV/LT, snow/winter, TBR, MTB, trailer and specialty tire lines on a factory direct basis along with U.S. warehouse order fill service.
