At Yokohama Rubber Co. Ltd.'s upcoming general shareholders meeting on March 27, 2015, the board of directors is expected to make formal the following changes in senior management:
- Tooru Kobayashi will continue to serve as a director and executive vice president. Kobayashi has worked as head of the corporate planning division in charge of the IT and management system planning department. The company is reorganizing that department system wide and Kobayashi now will lead the IT and management system planning division.
- Masataka Yamaishi will be promoted to director, head of the tire business planning division and president of Yokohama Motorsports International Co. Ltd. Yamaishi will remain a corporate officer and acting head of the corporate planning division and head of the corporate planning department. Yamaishi will give up his duties as assistant to the president of tire business and president of Acty Corp.
- Masaki Noro, who has served as president of Yokohama Motorsports will become the head of the tire research and experiment department as of April 1, 2015.. Noro will remain a corporate officer and head of the consumer tire development division.
