Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s "Take the Money and Ride" promotion has begun. The event, which runs through Dec. 31, 2008, gives consumers a $50 rebate with the purchase of four qualifying Cooper tires at participating dealers nationwide.
"We are confident in the quality and performance of our tires," says Hal Gardner, vice president of marketing. "A large-scale event like the national tire sale gives us the opportunity to share that quality and performance with consumers at a price that is affordable even in a tight economy."
The sale features a mail-in rebate of $50 when buying a set of four tires from the following tire lines:
* Cooper CS4 Touring, a premium luxury tire;
* Cooper Lifeliner GLS, an all-season touring tire;
* Discoverer ATR, a premium all-terrain SUV and light truck tire;
* Discoverer H/T, a highway touring tire.
Cooper's cash-back promotion will be featured in commercials airing on several national broadcast stations, including ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, Versus, Raycom Sports and Fox Sports Regional, as well as in point of sale materials.

This offer is valid in the United States, Canada and the District of Columbia, and is void in Rhode Island and where restricted or prohibited by law.
