Falken Tire expands affiliation with Brenthel Industries

March 16, 2015

On the heels of this weekend’s popular The Mint 400 off-road race, Team Falken, manufacturer of high performance on- and off-road tires for a wide variety of vehicles, has announced an expanded race program with long-time partner Brenthel Industries.

The team will race in all 2015 Best in The Desert (BITD) events, where it is the defending champion for the second year in a row, as well as races in SCORE in which the team took the 2013 championship.

Brothers Jordan and Jonathan Brenthel will unveil their Falken Tire Livery Spec Trophy Truck at The Mint 400 – where it will compete in the 6100 Class – as they look to continue the success they had in the 7200 Class Championship, in which both brothers earned a championship.  The class draws more teams each season and will attract 20 trucks to the BITD-managed event this weekend.  The Mint 400 has characteristically held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since its inaugural year in 1967.

“Falken continues to use desert racing to test the durability, sidewall construction and overall performance and reliability of our very successful WildPeak line in order to deliver a superb product to our consumer for everyday use,” stated Nick Fousekis, Falken’s Director of Motorsports and Marketing.  “We could not have aligned ourselves with a better off-road representative – and series champion – than Brenthel Industries, and are excited to support them throughout this new off-road season.”
