Helio Castroneves, the elder statesman of Team Penske's IndyCar Series racing team, is set to make a guest appearance at the North American Tire & Retread Expo on April 15, 2015, in New Orleans. The exposition will run from April 15-17.
Castroneves, who will be signing autographs and taking photos at the Firestone Racing Tires booth, became the first driver to win back-to-back Indianapolis 500s in his first two starts at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in 2001 and 2002; he won again in 2009. He has yet to win the Verizon IndyCar Series championship, but has finished second in the driver standings the last two years.
In May 2010, Castroneves released a book about his life and how he's met its challenges: "Victory Road -- The Ride of My Life."
