Freedom Tire Distributing has hired industry veteran Andy Franko to lead its Los Angeles County, California, expansion.
Freedom Tire Distributing currently serves all of Orange, Riverside, and San Bernardino counties. The company is in the second phase of a three-year growth plan.
In 2014, the company purchased and moved into a larger warehouse, doubling capacity. This year, Freedom Tire Distributing will expand its footprint to cover all of L.A. County. San Diego is on the board for next year, according to the company.
Franko is a 21-year veteran of the tire and wheel industry. He previously worked for Am-Pac Tire Distributors Inc. and American Tire Distributors Inc. He was vice president of Lexani Wheels Corp. for 12 years.
