Bridgestone Commercial names Hyzdu VP

Marshall Hyzdu is taking the reigns leading marketing initiatives for off-the-road, commercial truck and bus tire products as vice president of the commercial tire division, a division of Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations (BATO.)

“We are fortunate to add Marshall’s many talents and rich experience to our team at BATO,” said Philip Dobbs, chief marketing officer for BATO. “Under his leadership, we are confident that the commercial division will continue to grow, meeting and anticipating customer needs and moving Bridgestone forward as an industry leader.”

Hyzdu has an extensive background in marketing for global brands, including Valvoline and Kraft Foods. Hyzdu led global product strategy for Valvoline. At Kraft for more than six years, Hyzdu led brand management for several of the company’s brands, including Kraft Singles, Breakstone’s, Knudsen, Polly-O, Athenos and more. Additionally, Hyzdu was an analyst at UBS Investment Bank and a brand manager at Vector Marketing Corp.

Hyzdu earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor, Mich. and an undergraduate degree in history and psychology from Dartmouth College in Hanover, N.H. where he played football.
