Groupe Michelin has introduced a medium truck tire, the Michelin X Energy SaverGreen, which contains the company's Energy Flex "heat- stable" casing.
Energy Flex is the latest addition to the Michelin Durable Technologies family. Michelin officials say the technology is "capable of driving a measurable reduction in fuel consumption throughout the life of the tire."
The tire also contains Michelin's InfiniCoil architecture, "which helps to increase payload and endurance," plus double wave sipes, "which enhance grip."
