Jack Williams Tire Co. donated $500 to the Valor Clinic in honor of the grand opening of its 30th retail location in Brodheadsville, Pa. The Valor Clinic is a non-profit veteran’s assisted living outreach program.
Founded in 2008, Valor Clinic has been helping area veterans rebuild their lives after serving. The organization is noted for providing struggling veterans with shelter, food, supplies, and other support. The organization also created a Veterans Unstoppable program to aid those suffering from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
“It’s important to continue to give back to our communities,” says Bill Williams, chairman and CEO of Jack Williams Tire.
Valor Clinic officials Mark Baylis, CEO and co-founder, Eric Baily, treasurer, and Glen Lippincott, director of small group operations, attended the official ribbon-cutting ceremony at the new Jack Williams outlet in Brodheadsville.
The $500 donation provided by Jack Williams Tire will help fund the Major Paul Syverson Veterans Sanctuary, also known as Paul’s House. Paul’s House, which provides shelter for the area’s homeless veterans, also provides life skills programs that will aid their transition back into society.
Jack Williams Tire operates 30 retail locations in northeastern and central Pennsylvania and 11 wholesale locations in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey. The company is No. 38 on the Modern Tire Dealer 100 list of the nation's top independent tire dealers.
