Balkrishna Industries Ltd. (BKT) and OK Tire Stores Inc. are teaming up to sponsor Curling Canada, a long-established regional association that governs curling championships in that country.
BKT officials say both tire brands "will be visible in TV sports, around the rink, on the scoreboard, on the ice sheet, and on players' jerseys, as well as on merchandising items for the yearly Continental Cup, which will be named after the two main sponsors, becoming the 2020 OK Tire & BKT Tires Continental Cup."
The companies also will sub-sponsor curling events on TV, including six championship events organized by Curling Canada.
