Three Mickey Thompson brand tires won 2019 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show Global Media Awards honors.
They include the Baja Boss, Baja Pro X and Baja Pro XS lines, selected by four-wheel-drive enthusiast publication editors based in Australia, France and Canada, respectively.
"The SEMA Global Media Awards program celebrates the growing trend of automotive personalization and customization throughout the world," according to Mickey Thompson Tires & Wheels officials. "International journalists serve as judges, using the program to help identify new products that are likely to succeed in their home countries."
Ken Warner, Mickey Thompson's vice president of marketing, says the Cooper Tire & Rubber Co.'s subisidiary's presence at the 2019 SEMA Show, which ran Nov. 5-8, "was a great example of our continued dedication to global growth."
Todd Pickens, the brand’s vice president of sales, shared new product information with Modern Tire Dealer during the 2019 SEMA Show.
