Icahn Automotive Group LLC has opened new Pep Boys - Manny, Moe & Jack tire and service centers in Astoria, N.Y.; LaGrange, Ga.; and Lawndale and Rocklin, Calif.
The new locations - which are near the New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Sacramento metro centers - include both greenfield and acquisition properties, and "were selected for their proximity to both individual and fleet customers that need convenient, local shops for service," according to Icahn officials.
"As automotive technology continues to evolve at a rapid rate, investments to expand our capabilities and our network, especially in densely populated areas, will enable us to provide better service to more customers," says Pep Boys CEO Brian Kaner.
There are nearly 1,000 Pep Boys locations throughout the United States.
