Phoenix, Ariz.-based Community Tire Pros and Auto Repair has joined The Hybrid Shop network.
"Through its partnership and training with The Hybrid Shop, Community Tire Pros and Auto Repair will now offer hybrid (automotive) services in the greater Phoenix (area) and surrounding areas," say Hybrid Shop officials.
As part of its enhanced service offering, the dealership, which is owned by Howard Fleischmann and Kim Sigman, will have the ability to install hybrid batteries that are reconditioned at The Hybrid Shop's manufacturing facility in California.
"Using proprietary processes and technology, this green service restores up to 95% of the battery pack's original power and energy, and saves customers thousands of dollars. The ability to restore, as opposed to replacing, the batteries is a critical element in the environmental sustainability of these services."
Fleischmann, who calls hybrid electric vehicles "the futurre of the automotive industry," says his company looks forward to "putting The Hybrid Shop's proven technical process to work and expanding our services to include hybrid and electric vehicles."
