Toyo Promotes Graber To Sales VP Position

Oct. 10, 2019

Michael Graber will become Toyo Tire U.S.A. Corp.'s vice president of sales on Jan. 1, 2020, when Toyo Senior Vice President Randy Gaetz retires.

Graber currently serves as Toyo's director of sales for commercial tires. His promotion is a "part of the company’s succession plan," according to Toyo officials.

Graber joined Toyo as a truck tires sales manager in September 2013. In March 2015, he took the role of senior manager, product planning and technical services, and was promoted to his current position three years later.

Gaetz’s retirement will come after more than 41 years in the tire industry.

"Since he joined Toyo in September 2013, the company has seen unit sales increase by more than 50% and dealer points of sale have more than doubled," say Toyo officials. "During his tenure as head of sales, he also successfully relaunched the (Toyo) brand’s U.S. truck and bus tire business."

“Randy Gaetz has spearheaded initiatives which have resulted in our exceptional growth the last six years and I am excited to continue that momentum with Michael Graber as the new head of our elite sales team,” says Roy Bromfield, Toyo president and CEO.

“Graber’s experience in the tire industry, as well as his knowledge of our company, our products, and our partners, has made him a key part of our leadership team. I am confident he will be successful in leading our company’s future sales growth."

Dave Johnston will replace Graber as Toyo's director of sales for commercial tires on Jan. 1. A 19-year Toyo veteran, he currently serves as senior product manager, commercial tires.
