Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. raised its consumer tire prices up to 5% on Oct. 1.
Brands impacted include Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly.
Goodyear says it made the adjustment "in response to changing market dynamics in the industry and to reflect the strong value of the Goodyear brands."
Pirelli Tire North America Inc. also raised its consumer tire prices on Oct. 1, with increases varying by line and size.
Both Bridgestone Americas Tire Operations and Michelin North America Inc. increased prices on select passenger and light truck tires up to 5% on Sept. 1.
Yokohama Tire Corp. recently announced it will increase its passenger, high performance and light truck tire prices up to 5% on Nov. 1.
