McAllister Enterprises in Pokiok, New Brunswick, and Parent Tire in Edmundston, New Brunswick, have joined St. John, New Brunswick-based Coast Tire & Auto Service Ltd. as associate dealers.
Coast -- which also operates in Nova Scotia and the Maritime Provinces -- currently has four associate dealers and 17 corporate stores.
All of Coast's associate dealers use its name and signage.
Coast Tire acquired Goodyear Tire Canada Inc.'s tire service operations in the Maritimes last April. The deal included two Goodyear commercial shops plus a retread plant.
Coast Tire's 2001 sales reached $32 million (Canadian).
It is the 65th largest independent tire store chain in North America, according to Modern Tire Dealer data.
