Mighty Distributing System of America Inc. has a new franchisee in Alabama: Flynn Distributing Co. Inc.
Flynn Distributing has created a new operating unit, F and F Distributing, which holds an exclusive license to distribute Mighty automotive products throughout central and northwest Alabama. F and F Distributing will do business as Mighty of Birmingham.
Founded in 1971, Flynn Distributing is a wholesale distributor of automotive products throughout the states of Alabama and Mississippi. Randy and Ron Flynn own and operate the business along with their sons Brian and Darren.
“This new venture provides us the opportunity to better serve our existing and new customers with a more comprehensive offering of products and services,” says Randy Flynn.
Ron Flynn adds: “We were actively searching for ways to expand our business when the Mighty opportunity arose and we are looking forward to a long-standing relationship with our new business partner, Mighty Distributing System.”
The Flynn organization has been building relationships and a successful automotive distribution business for three generations, according to Mighty CEO and President Ken Voelker. “Adding a Mighty franchise to their portfolio of businesses is a synergistic fit that will benefit both Flynn Distributing and Mighty.”
Founded in 1963, Mighty is headquartered in Norcross, Ga., and supports 100 franchised distributors in 44 U.S. states and five international markets. The Mighty System features local service, inventory management expertise, and training in conjunction with extensive offerings of OE-quality underhood and undercar parts, chemical products, lubricants and shop supplies.
