Florida Inmate Retread Plant Joins Marangoni

An inmate training company that operates a retread plant has joined the Marangoni Tread North America Inc. network and will produce the Marangoni Ringtread brand.

PRIDE Enterprises Inc. (that stands for Prison Rehabilitative Industries and Diversified Enterprises Inc.) joined the network. It operates a retread plant in Avon Park, Fla. It's one of many career training programs offered at 21 state correctional facilities in Florida that span categories from manufacturing and graphics to land management and sewn products.

Robert Dague, the industry manager for retreads said, “PRIDE Enterprises added the Marangoni Ringtread system because it is a premium quality, double contoured, Splice-Less, American made precured tread that will provide our customers with a different & better retread experience.”

PRIDE, which is a private, non-profit and self-sufficient enterprise, operates operates a commercial tire retread plant with a capacity of more than 60,000 retreads a year. Its employees service fleets throughout Florida through both direct sales, and through a network of associate dealers. Production is certified to the ISO 9001:2018 standard.
