As of June 3, 2019, there are five tire stores in South Carolina that can say "If it rolls, we can fix it!" That's the tag line for Frasier Tire Service Inc., which opened the doors to its fifth location today.
The new St. George store is conveniently located at 840 Hwy 15, just one mile north of town center, six miles from I-26 and fiFve miles from I-95. It offers automotive tire and repair services along with full medium commercial truck service, including 24/7 emergency roadside service through the Goodyear FleetHQ Network.
Frasier Tire Service has been an independent Goodyear dealer for the last 45 years. It sells Goodyear, Dunlop and Kelly brands.
"The St. George location expands our footprint and is ideally situated between our Columbia and Charleston locations," says Tripp Lee, vice president of sales for the company. "We will now be able to serve our customer’s needs -- especially for medium commercial truck service, along Interstate 26 from Charleston to Newberry and on Interstate 95 from Hampton County all the way to Florence.
"Combined with our presence in Sumter, which includes our Goodyear Authorized Retread manufacturing plant, automotive service retail store, commercial truck service center and wholesale distribution warehouse, we see the St. George addition as the next logical step in our long range plan to continue being the best source in South Carolina for Goodyear tires, along with service that is always exceptional."
The newest Frasier Tire location was formerly LeGrande Fender Inc., a mainstay in the St. George community.
"I have known Mr. Fender for many years," says Julian Frasier, owner and president. "He and his son Blaine are men of the highest integrity -- a real credit to the tire business. We will strive to build on the Fender’s outstanding reputation as business men."
Frasier started the business in Sumter in 1974.

Frasier Tire also serves a large portion of the Interstate 20 corridor in South Carolina from its beginning in Florence County all the way to Batesburg-Leesville, splitting that service area between its Sumter and Columbia locations.
