Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance Adds Member in Iowa

April 4, 2019

The newest member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance (Alliance) is IWI Motor Parts (IWI) of Dubuque, Iowa. IWI joined the Alliance as a Bumper to Bumper affiliate on April 1, 2019.

IWI, which derives its name and logo from the states in which it operates (Iowa, Wisconsin, Illinois), was founded in 1962. The now second generation family-owned business began in a family station wagon that traveled to local gas stations selling filters, plugs, and other engine components.

Today, IWI Motor Parts employs nearly 240 people in the tri-state area and operates 13 warehouses and a corporate headquarters. With service as its backbone, the company focuses on providing quality OEM parts to the aftermarket and local car dealers, according to TJ Faley, president of IWI Motor Parts.

“The Alliance has long had a reputation for being the best buying group in the aftermarket,” says Faley. “The Alliance integrity, honesty, and quality are characteristics we admire. IWI’s philosophy will align perfect with the Alliance Motto ‘Service is the difference, we get it.’”

Faley says IWI will also be continuing to look for opportunities that are contiguous to its existing footprint, is excited about the changes to the automotive market and looks forward to the challenges ahead.

Says Alliance CEO and President John Washbish: “We are tremendously excited to welcome IWI Motor Parts as our newest Bumper to Bumper affiliate. IWI’s focus on family and commitment to service makes it a great fit for the Alliance.”
