Kumho Tire Co. Inc. has promoted Jeon Dae-jin to the office of CEO. The 35-year Kumho veteran has most recently served as senior executive vice president, as well as acting CEO.
Throughout his time with the company, Jeon has held several leadership roles in compound research and technology development, and he's worked to bolster the manufacturing process in an effort to increase productivity, efficiency and effectiveness.
He has most recently lead the overall production and China Production Technology division for Kumho.
In his inaugural speech, he said, “To drive business transformation, we need to align people, process and technology initiatives of our company more efficiently with a clear vision and objective. Our top priority will be to increase our investment in resources and enhance customer support along with organizing our internal systematic functions.”
