Continental Tire North America Inc. has named Jim Sicking director, independent dealer channel, in the PLT (Passenger/Light Truck) Replacement Sales and Marketing business unit.
In this position, Sicking will be responsible for ensuring that branded sales and profit objectives are achieved in the dealer channel.
"He has extensive experience in the automotive industry, and we're confident that under his leadership, we will see significant gains in our dealer sales in the coming years," says Andreas Gerstenberger, executive vice president, PLT Replacement Sales & Marketing.
Immediately prior to joining Continental, Sicking was national accounts manager at Phillips Industries. He has approximately 20 years of automotive experience in original equipment and aftermarket sales.
