Jim Ison, 68, a consultant for McCourt Industries/Corghi, died yesterday after a long battle with leukemia. He was 68.
Ison was a 40-year veteran in the industry, starting with the Firestone Tire & Rubber Co. He also was formerly vice president of Allen Testproducts, which was purchased by SPX Corp.

Mass in Ison's honor will be held Friday, Nov. 9, at 11 a.m. at Doylestown Church Nazarene, 15197 Portage St., Doylestown, Ohio (330-658-6692).
