Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. has hired Carl Montalbine as vice president of global quality and operational excellence, a newly created position. He reports directly to CEO and President Roy Armes.
"Carl's background and experience in the areas of Six Sigma, lean strategy deployment, black belt and green belt training and other focus areas of operational excellence will help us continue manufacturing tires that exceed customers' expectations," says Armes.
Montalbine previously worked in officer-level positions in global Six Sigma operations. He was involved in business information and enterprise resource planning for high-tech companies including Textron Inc., AlliedSignal, Honeywell International Inc., Northrop Inc. and Fairchild Republic Co.
