Wholesale/distributor RHD Tire Inc., headquartered in Grand Rapids, Mich., has opened a new facility in Royal Oak. Mich.
The primary focus of the new location is supplying and servicing automotive dealerships, the company says. It offers a wide variety of tire brands including Bridgestone, Firestone, Goodyear, Dunlop, Republic, Michelin, BFGoodrich, Uniroyal, Continental, General, Hankook and Pirelli.
Michael Korte, RHD director and manager of RHD-East, says, "RHD’s car dealer focus and multi-brand strategies have fueled growth to the point where opening a Metro Detroit location was the next logical step. This new warehouse is ideal, and one from which we can better support and serve our expanding Metro Detroit customer base.”
Korte was chosen to lead the the company's new regional endeavor "because of his expertise and training in the GM-On the Roll, Ford-Around the Wheel and Chrysler Tire programsm," says RHD Tire.
