The Tire Industry Association (TIA) has worked out a deal with eBay Motors that will make TIA members part of the on-line auction house's tire installer network.
"When an eBay Motors customer purchases a tire or wheel-related product, they will be notified that a local TIA tire installer can be found via the eBay Motors tire portal," say TIA officials.
"TIA members will have the opportunity to feature their own business on eBay Motors... in addition to member participation, (TIA) will be providing eBay Motors with content for its Web site to help educate consumers on tire and wheel products."
The network will designate those TIA members who employ automotive and commercial tire service technicians who've been certified by the association.
