Enger Automotive adds four stores

Aug. 11, 2008

Euclid, Ohio-based Enger Automotive has added four locations, including a 12,000-square-foot facility in Parma Heights, Ohio, that has eight bays.

The store also will serve as a central warehouse for other Enger Automotive locations.

In addition, ground-breaking began earlier this month for a new store in Brunswick, Ohio, a suburb of Cleveland, and two more stores will follow in North Ridgeville and Avon, Ohio. Each of the new stores will be 6,000 square feet and will open 90 days after their ground-breaking.

The four locations will increase the total number of Enger Automotive's locations to 20, with another in sight soon. Jim Enger, owner of Enger Automotive, plans to have 100 locations in nine years, serving the Cleveland, Akron and Columbus, Ohio, areas.

Enger Automotive is the 72nd largest independent tire store chain in the United States, according to the MTD 100, which appeared in the July 2008 issue of Modern Tire Dealer.
