American Tire Distributors Inc.'s (ATD) recent ATD Charity Classic Golf Tournament raised a record $100,000 for two North Carolina-based charities, the Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina and the Charlotte Rescue Mission.
Each group received a check for $50,000.
"While we are involved in a number of charitable events throughout the year, the ATD Charity Classic Golf Tournament is our signature fundraising event," says ATD Chairman and CEO Dick Johnson, Chairman and CEO of American Tire Distributors.
