Treadways promotes Sumitomo brand tires in new campaign

In support of its new maximum performance tire -- the Sumitomo HTRZ III -- Treadways Corp. has created a launch campaign that brings tire sizes front and center.

The "We've Got Your Number" campaign highlights the Sumitomo brand's ability to cover the full range of customer needs -- from the performance enthusiast to the street tuner to the customer who wants a basic performance package.

"This campaign draws attention to the breadth of the sizes we offer," says Richard Purol, Treadways' vice-president of marketing for the Sumitomo brand. "Those sizes meet the actual performance specifications of a wide range of vehicles.

"It's about being able to get the product you really need when you need it. And Sumitomo, with our vast distribution network, can make that commitment because we've got your number."

The campaign is being featured on all collateral materials, in-store merchandising and public relations materials.

The HTRZ III, is a well-balanced combination of euro performance and street tuner appeal -- available in more than 30 popular sizes.

The Sumitomo tire is available in 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 series aspect ratios and in 17- to 22-inch rim diameter sizes.

The HTRZ III is a direct replacement for premium performance vehicles including Lexus, Infiniti, BMW and Cadillac, plus a true performance upgrade for tuner segment vehicles like Honda, Volkswagen, Nissan and Subaru.
