BFGoodrich will be the official tire brand of SCORE International and its Desert Racing Series through 2018. The 10-year extension was signed by officals from Michelin North America Inc. and SCORE International.
"BFGoodrich Tires has become synonymous with off-road desert racing through its support of SCORE International, and we are excited that they are continuing their efforts and service to off-road racing professionals and amateur competitors," said SCORE CEO and President Sal Fish.
SCORE officials are expecting a record entries of more than 350 racers from more than 40 states and 15 countries to battle for the top spots at the 40th annual SCORE Baja 1000, which will be held Nov. 10-16, 2007, from Ensenada to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. More than 73% of the field will be competing on BFGoodrich tires.
BFGoodrich Tires will dedicate 10 full service tractor-trailer pit vehicles and nearly 250 volunteer and active personnel to support its racers at the Baja 1000.
