The Rubber Manufacturers Association (RMA) has developed a downloadable tire care curriculum, which is available on its www.betiresmart.org Web site.
The RMA says more than 16,000 high school drivers ed teachers, high school auto repair instructors and commercial driving instructors have been notified of the program's availability by postcard.
Teachers responding to the mailer by Oct. 1 will receive a free tire pressure gauge.
