Louis-Georges Turcotte, former president and co-owner of Quebec-based CTR Tire Service Ltd., has died. He was 74.
CTR Tire Service was, at one time, the largest independent tire dealership in eastern Canada, with 35 stores. The business was sold to the former Bridgestone (Canada) Inc. in 1986.
He leaves behind his wife, Marguerite Belanger; children Pierre (Odette Rouleau), Diane (Yves Cote), Jacques (Louise Boudreau) and Serge (Caroline Jean); and eight grandchildren.
