KYB America's Mike Howarth is going back to Europe. The senior vice president will transfer to KYB Europe as managing director at the end of July 2007.
In a related move, Mike Fiorito, formerly director of sales, was promoted to vice president of KYB America effective July 1.
Howarth joined KYB America, a subsidiary of KYB Corp., as senior vice president almost five years ago after serving in various capacities in KYB Europe from 1997 to 2002. His objective was clear: help expand and develop KYB's presence in the North American aftermarket.
"KYB America is now a far stronger aftermarket supplier, with a much improved organization, and is well positioned to meet the future demands of the market," says Howarth.
"As we approach a 20% market share, I am confident that our management team, under the leadership of Mike Fiorito, will continue to drive forward the growth of KYB, and that our company, our distributors and our service provider customers will all benefit."
