Solideal USA Inc. has acquired the assets of World Wide Wheel LLC. The acquisition gives Solideal a wheel plant in Knoxville, Tenn., which adds to its manufacturing sites in North America and Asia.
In conjunction with the deal, Solideal also is opening a service center at this location "to provide fast and dependable service for the local customer base," according to the company.
Solideal USA is a manufacturer and distributor of material handling tires, rubber tracks, pneumatic construction tires and wheels. The Solideal group employs more than 9,000 people worldwide.
