Nokian Tyres plc's net sales for the first quarter totaled 199.9 million euros versus 149.4 million euros during the first quarter of 2006.
Nokian's operating profit also rose during the first quarter of 2007, topping out at 39 million euros.
"Net sales on all profit centers were up," say Nokian officials, who add that the company "is positioned to achieve strong sales growth and to outperform the year 2006."
