SCCA Pro Racing SPEED World Challenge is offering a new prize: the Toyo Cup.
The Toyo Cup recognizes "those drivers who make tremendous contributions to the series while sharing their time with another profession," say Toyo Tire (U.S.A.) Corp. officials.
It awards a $250 Toyo Tires credit at each race to the highest finishing driver enrolled in the program, who will also be acknowledged in the winner’s circle ceremonies and in the post-race media coverage.
"The Toyo Cup program is designed for those drivers who do not rely on racing as a sole occupation. To enroll in the Toyo Cup program, drivers must submit an application to SCCA Pro Racing for approval by series officials."
