SPX Corp. has been honored by the Environmental Protection Agency for its work in reducing atmospheric pollution.
Specifically, SPX was given the 2007 Stratospheric Ozone Protection Award for its development of the SPX Robinair 34788 Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging Unit, which recovers at least 95% of refrigerant from an automotive air conditioning system.
