Michelin North America Inc. has picked an architect and builder for its Michelin on Main retail shop in Greenville, S.C.
The store will offer Michelin-branded "mobility and lifestyle products" like maps, guides, hats and jackets, according to Michelin officials, not tires.
However, shoppers will be able to ask about tires that are best-suited for their vehicles, and will be referred to local Michelin tire dealers.
The 2,600-square-foot shop is scheduled to open late this summer.
