Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) and its ContiBusinessCouncil are working on a number of initiatives, including "progress on the manufacturing/supply side," say CTNA officials.

The council met recently in San Antonio, Texas. "The feedback we receive from the council has been an integral part of our current decision-making, as well as planning for the future," says Andreas Gerstenberger, executive vice president, CTNA.

"The group meets twice a year, and its contributions have helped drive many of the initiatives that currently are in place."

The Contibusiness Council "was one of the strong advocates for CTNA to transform (our) Gold Dealer program and to revitalize the General brand," add CTNA officials.
