CTNA will add 200-plus sizes to General, Continental lines

Continental Tire North America Inc. (CTNA) will add more than 200 new sizes to three of its General brand lines and its ContiProContact line, a Continental brand product, by the end of the year, Jeremy Lewin, CTNA's prdouct planning and brand development manager, told nearly 200 dealers on March 15 during the company's Gold dealer program meeting in San Antonio, Texas.

CTNA's recently introduced General Altimax line will receive 68 new sizes by the third quarter. The new General Altimax Arctic line will receive 26 new sizes. Meanwhile, 59 sizes will be added to the General Exclaim UHP, and the ContiProContact line will recive 51 new sizes, which brings its total size line-up to 90, according to Lewin.

The Altimax line consists of two tires, the Altimax RT and the Altimax HP. The RT will replace CTNA's General G4S and GS60 tires, while the HP will replace the H-rated version of the General Exclaim.
