ACCC and CARQUEST form strategic partnership

March 14, 2007

A nationwide insurance program and technical training are two benefits American Car Care Centers Inc. (ACCC) dealers will receive thanks to a new strategic marketing partnership the company has formed with CARQUEST Auto Parts.

The benefits package will be marketed by ACCC as MaxPak. It will include CARQUEST's existing online technical training, for which there will be a monthly fee, comprehensive health and business insurance and a host of other marketing initiatives.

"For American Car Care Centers member distributors, we are extending access to our world class training and education programs as well as a host of other elements which have been developed over many years," said Temple Sloan III, CARQUEST's president.

CARQUEST and ACCC have worked together for more than 10 years.

"It is important for us to partner with a company that shares the same vision for our customers, and CARQUEST is that partner," said ACCC Director of Marketing Dave Crawford. "We are very pleased to be able to draw on the many resources this partnership has made available to us. We are proud to be strategically aligned with such a fine company."

Denise Rawls, ACCC's program development manager, added, "By implementing MaxPak in addition to ACCC's other programs and elements, ACCC members have a solid framework for success."
