Modern Tire Dealer Publisher Greg Smith will be the keynote speaker on day one of Clemson University's upcoming Tire Industry Conference. The 23rd annual event will be held March 14-16, 2007, at The Westin Resort, Hilton Head Island, Hilton Head, S.C.
Smith's presentation -- one of 22 scheduled to be delivered by experts in their respective fields -- will examine the important issues facing the tire industry. He will look at brand shares, tire shipments and the players, and how they all interrelate.
Who is positioned to grow, and why? What changes in distribution have played major roles in the marketplace today? Smith will answer these questions and more in his keynote address, which will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, March 14.
The conference will have four sessions over three days: Interaction of Design and Performance, Regulatory Compliance, Technology, and End of Life Tires.
