Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. announced that the Delaware Supreme Court has granted its request for an expedited hearing of its appeal to a partial ruling rendered by Vice Chancellor Sam Glasscock III in the case Cooper filed against Apollo Tyres Ltd.
Cooper said in a statement:
"Cooper Tire & Rubber Co. is pleased that the Delaware Supreme Court has granted our motion for an expedited hearing of our appeal of the partial ruling issued Nov. 8/opinion letter issued Nov. 9 by the Delaware Chancery Court.
"The hearing is set for Dec. 19 in Dover, Del.
"Cooper continues to seek the expeditious closing of the merger with Apollo Tyres."
