Magneti Marelli Offered by Mopar, the new high-quality aftermarket parts program for all major vehicle makes offered through Chrysler Group dealerships, has increased its 30-plus product lines to include even more coverage for non-Chrysler vehicles.
The Magneti Marelli parts list has recently grown with ignition coils and an all-makes battery program combined with Mopar for Chrysler as well as non-Chrysler applications. Additional product lines to follow soon are fuel injectors and additional AC components.
The company is also continuing to expand the coverage of existing product lines. The brake pad kits and brake shoe product lines have recently grown by 251 additional part numbers to give repair technicians the coverage they need.
Magneti Marelli says its product quality has been very well received by the market. Dealerships and installers are very satisfied with the quality, longevity and ease of installation of the parts which help them increase customer satisfaction and shop efficiency.
The distribution network of Magneti Marelli Offered by Mopar parts has expanded as well, with 1,900 of approximately 2,600 Chrysler Group dealerships using Magneti Marelli Offered by Mopar parts in their daily operations. Also included are 58 major distributors of the full line of products as well as 252 large stocking dealerships who carry a wider range of Magneti Marelli Offered by Mopar parts.
The dealership retail business is supported by aggressive sales promotions, for example; a consumer driving a non-Chrysler vehicle such as GM, Ford, Toyota, Honda or others can bring their vehicle to participating Chrysler group dealerships for services such as $13.75 oil changes (in conjunction with an all-makes service contract: four oil changes for $55) or a $99 brake pad replacement service.
The independent aftermarket demand is growing as well as dealerships are promoting the parts to their wholesale customers which include independent repair facilities, fleets and warehouse distributors. The wholesale activities are supported by quarterly promotions so wholesale customers receive 20% automated rebates on any Magneti Marelli purchases in the fourth quarter (with $50 minimum purchase/month; excluding batteries).
Magneti Marelli’s full diagnostic tools are available for purchase now. The program includes four high quality vehicle diagnostic scan tools: Flex, Vision, Smart and Logic.
The Magneti Marelli Flex has been chosen by the Chrysler Academy for conducting vehicle diagnosis and training future technicians on all makes and models in every Chrysler Training Center across the United States, Canada and Mexico.
