Hercules will open two new TDW locations

Nov. 11, 2013

Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. announced the opening of a newly relocated Tire Dealer’s Warehouse (TDW) in Houston, Texas, on Nov. 18, and a new TDW location in Seattle, Wash., in Dec. 2013.

The 46,000-square-foot facility in north Houston will provide free delivery with twice-a-day, same-day and express options to most areas.

“Our move to a bigger and more modern facility coupled with improvements to technology and operations will allow us to service our customers at an even higher level,” says Bill Trimarco, CEO and president of Hercules.

The Houston warehouse has approximately 1.4 million cubic feet and is accessible from Houston’s I-45 and I-8, according to the company.

The Seattle warehouse has approximately 1 million cubic feet, eight docks and a will call area, and is accessible from Seattle’s GW 167 and I-5. In addition to the Seattle metro area, the TDW location will service the entire North Washington area.

“Increasing delivery routes and accessibility to will call in the Seattle metro market will provide our customers with more options to compete in today’s market,” says Trimarco.

Hercules had previously serviced the Seattle market out of its Portland, Ore., TDW location, which opened in 2007.

The Houston and Seattle TDW locations will offer the full line of Hercules passenger, light truck, medium truck and specialty applications, and Hercules’ Ironman line of passenger, light truck and OTR/Specialty tires.

The company says the locations will also offer many other brands, including Bridgestone/Firestone, Toyo, Yokohama, Nexen, Falken, and the Solideal Industrial brand.
