SEMA Show, Day Four: Hennessy introduces inflation station

Hennessy Industries Inc. displayed a prototype of an inflation station at the 2013 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas, Nev. The product boosts productivity up to 20% over conventional inflation, according to the company.

The inflation station makes a tire changer available for another tire during inflation. In addition, the auto bead blast occurs at the inflation station, further freeing the technician to change tires.

“In our tests, there is up to 20% time savings over conventional inflation,” says Jon Woodlee, marketing manager for Hennessy.

A prototype is on display at the SEMA Show. Hennessy says the product will be available for purchase soon.

The company says using the inflation station with its tire changer and balancer enhances workflow. “Our goal for our customers is faster bay turns to increase profitability,” says Woodlee.
